Consequently, the primary mission of the Mohave County Probation Department is to protect the public, serve justice, and change lives. Evidence-based practices EBP are strategies that have been shown through current, scientific research to lead to a reduction in offender recidivism.

She previously served as interim chief of juvenile probation in Arizona and as state director for adult probation for the Arizona Supreme Court, and she is past president of the American Probation and Parole Association. Many people who enter the criminal justice system interact with the Maricopa County Adult Probation Department at some point during the Court process. Our Pretrial Services Units monitor and offer assistance to individuals when they are pending charges. Our Presentence Units provide comprehensive reports to the Court containing pertinent information about the defendant, including valuable information and statements from victims, as well as sentencing recommendations.
To ensure safety for all who are in attendance of the session, the class will be limited to ten 10 participants per session. There may be more than one session held at any given location.
